Amuse
Founded in 1991, Amuse has quickly become one of the most influential tuners in Japan. Since the company’s foundation by Mr. Hideki Tanabe each and every effort has been aimed at engineering and manufacturing high quality tuning parts for selected Japanese vehicles. Currently Amuse manufactures products almost exclusively for a handful of selected vehicles; this allows them to develop an in depth knowledge of each vehicle which translates in superior products.
Amuse has earned its reputation on the track by building some of the fastest cars in Japan, like that incredible R34-based Carbon-R time-attack car and the S2000 GT1 that many of you will remember from Gran Turismo 4. Amuse also holds the record for the fastest NA powered 350Z which pushed to 271 KPH thanks to its 358hp VQ35 engine.
The current Amuse product line includes:
Aero Kits
The Amuse aero kits are all designed with function in mind. They provide better aerodynamics as well as increased cooling for the engine’s critical areas. Most of the parts are manufactured from dry carbon and they mount to the stock points for a flawless fit.
Exhaust systems
Amuse has become famous worldwide for their titanium exhaust systems and their signature blue gradient tips. These systems not only provide a considerable increase in horsepower but are also dramatically lighter compared to the stock units. Pictures don’t even do justice to the craftsmanship of these exhausts, you really have to see them in person to appreciate the quality of each single weld, bracket and pipe bend.
Electronics
Modern sport cars have become more and more dependent on electronics; any real tuner has to develop a thorough knowledge of these systems in order to get the maximum benefits from an engine. Amuse is at the leading edge of ECU tuning, being one of the first companies to “crack” the infamous Nissan GTR ECU. Among their product range you will find ECU upgrades that not only modify for fuel and ignition maps, but also for variable valve timing, throttle control, VTEC, speed limiters etc.
Suspension
For the suspension systems Amuse has partnered with Bilstein, a world leader in shock manufacturing. Their partnership has resulted in the development of specially valved shocks paired with carefully selected spring rates for the best compromise between grip and comfort. Most coilover kits include top mounts and external reservoirs; all are height adjustable via threaded spring.
