Founded in Japan in 1992, A'PEXi has grown from just a small tuning parts manufacturer to a multi-industry international powerhouse. 2009 marks the 18th year for the A'PEXi. Growth has come from hard work, research, and the highest commitment to customer service and feedback. An international network of tuning shops and consumers provides a steady flow of incoming information that continuously fuels the engineers at A'PEXi. Championship wins and racing feedback can be seen reflected throughout the product lineup. Localization of products has also been a top priority so that we can better serve the needs of our customers. It is with this steady flow of commitment and goals that A'PEXi has been able to grow so quickly.

A'PEXi has now applied the extensive knowledge it has gained from automotive motorsports and used it to expand into new and technologically advanced tuning products. A'PEXi main product lines consist of: Exhaust, Intake, Electronics and Suspension.

Exhaust Systems

Power, efficiency and durability are just a few of the ongoing goals of the exhaust system division. A'PEXi firmly believes that the exhaust system is one product that should never be compromised. Many stock exhaust systems on performance cars have been engineered extremely well and hastily developed aftermarket exhausts have been shown to actually lose power. A’PEXi exhaust specialists toil long hours in the art of exhaust gas flow. Every aspect of manufacturing is analyzed including CAD design, materials, welding quality, exhaust gas dynamics, engine compatibility and real world use. A'PEXi exhaust systems are considered THE standards in the industry. Proven quality outlasts anything else. Intake Systems

A'PEXi also manufactures a complete line of intake systems; this include replacement filters for the stock air-box, open filters for maximum horsepower, enclosed aluminum induction boxes and MAF to D-Jetro conversion kits.

The Power Intake Dual Funnel Air Cleaner is the premier air filter designed to create pure horsepower. The intake funnels used in racing machines take advantage of a characteristic where air travels along the side of the side of surfaces. However, the center portion of the funnel is virtually unused. It is this concept that gave birth to the Dual Funnel design. A primary funnel on the top portion of the air cleaner was inserted to channel the air flow directly into the lower funnels at the base of the cleaner. This design was a huge success on the former Super Intake model. The Power Intake took this design and improved the flow characteristics. New funnel design, element material and air flow channeling characteristics make the Power Intake one of the most efficient air cleaners on the market today. By constructing the upper and lower funnel from a highly durable injected resin, engineers were able to construct the ideal shaped funnel previously not possible with the stainless steel material. The A'PEXi Aluminum Induction Box effectively shields the intake filter element from power robbing heat caused by turbocharged engines and extreme under the hood conditions. By fully enclosing the filter element and directing the intake air charge away from the heat soaked engine components, the A'PEX induction box helps prevent the ingestion of hot, preheated air from within the engine compartment. This reduction of intake air temperature promotes more efficient combustion, which in turn creates better performance and increased reliability. All components are manufactured by A'PEX to the highest standards to ensure precise fitment and maximum performance.

The A'PEXi Super Suction Kit is an intake adapter kit for hardcore enthusiasts wishing to convert their fuel injection system to D-Jetro (Pressure sensor type) or switch airflow meters with a higher capacity version from a different vehicle. This allows tuners to transcend the limitations of the factory fuel injection system and unleash the true power potential of their modified engine. The kit comes with a replacement intake pipe, filter, airflow meter clip (L-Jetro versions only) and all necessary hardware. D-Jetro versions require the installation of the separately sold pressure sensor, pressure sensor harness, intake air temp sensor and its corresponding harness.

Electronics

A'PEXi has been a pioneer of  electronic tuning. For many years their products have enabled enthusiasts to tune their car's fuel and ignition systems without the need for expensive standalone ECUs. Products such as the AFC (fuel controller) and the AVC-R (boost controller) are found in thousands of vehicles and allow high level of tuning at an affordable price. For those requiring an even higher level of tuning A'PEXi  offers full standalone ECUs called Power FC; these units allow precise control of tuning parameters though a simple and intuitive interface.

Suspension Systems

Since 2004 A'PEXi has introduced a line of high quality suspension systems aimed at fast road, track and drift; these include coilovers and adjustable shock mounts. All components are manufactured in Japan using the highest quality standards. The A'PEXi range of suspension systems is divided according to its use: street, drift or track.

S1 Street Damper System
Ride quality and handling performance are not mutually exclusive. Almost all coilover suspension systems are designed for track use, but are not well matched for street use. In fact, most are sprung and dampened improperly for street use, which not only gives a harsh and unpleasant ride, but also hurts grip performance when the suspension cannot conform to the road. To address this gap, Apex proudly introduces the S1 Damper line, with a specifically selected recipe of spring rates, oil and valving for hi-performance street cars that double as weekend track machines.

N1 Evolution Drift Damper System
Suspension setup is key to provide the proper balance and stable handling characteristics suitable for drifting. Using our experience in the the D1 GP to fine tune our suspension setup, we were able to create the ultimate drifting coilover. All N1 dampers feature large piston, monotube design using a threaded base for height adjustments without compromising shock or spring travel.

The N1 Evolution is the newest generation of A'PEXi track engineered flagship N1 suspension. All N1 dampers feature large piston, monotube design using a threaded base for height adjustments without compromising shock or spring travel. Every year, A'PEXi gathers incredible amounts of suspension data from their direct involvement in many different racing series. This specialized data goes directly into their sports parts development to provide the customer with the same cutting edge suspension technology they use on all their racing vehicles. In many respects, circuit competition is regarded as racing in its purest form. A'PEX has been at the forefront of this arena for years, building time attack vehicles for competition in top level events and racing series. All N1 dampers are engineered to work with each car's dynamic characteristics, spring rates and valving taken into consideration each car's chassis dynamic to provide out-of-the-box performance.
