Tarox
Based in Italy and originally involved in Formula 1, TAROX celebrated its 30th anniversary in 2006. TAROX designs and manufactures brake discs, light weight multi-pistons calipers and high performance brake pads. Their brake conversion kit application list for road cars boasts more than 800 applications while its racing catalogue lists more that 20 different calipers for all kind of racing cars and 30 types of racing discs.
Constant development and innovation ensures that the TAROX products are constantly at the cutting edge of design and technology, with new products and applications being added to the range every month. All TAROX big brake kits are designed to work in conjunction with any existing brake systems. The brake kit does not interfere with any ABS sensors and all the piston sizes are tailored to suit the car.
Product Range
Since the early 1980s TAROX brake discs have been associated with absolute quality. Blank casts used for TAROX discs, after having passed stringent quality controls, are subjected to structural stress relieving heat treatment at the end of each machining phase as a result of more than 30 years experience. Facing is performed on CNC turning machines or - in the case of G88 discs - on in house custom built machinery. Another distinguishing feature of TAROX brake discs is their perfectly level surface machined to a tolerance approaching 0.015 mm, achieved during the final finishing of the braking surfaces on grinding machines. Each disc is ground individually by specialized operator resulting in that distinctive shining look. TAROX discs work best when coupled with TAROX pads which has been expressly formulated to deliver optimum performances with heat treated discs.

Fitting a TAROX big brake upgrade kit will give you amazing braking performance and total confidence. By matching the multi-piston calipers to the discs, problems such as disc failure, deformation and vibration are eliminated. In most cases TAROX kits contain 2 brake calipers, two brake discs, two adaptor brackets, 1 set of brake pads, 1 set of brake lines. Rear kit using original equipment calipers consists of two brake discs and two adaptor brackets.
Brake conversion kit can be divided into three categories:
Compact
In most cases these kits feature single piece discs whose size seldom exceeds 300mm. The use of smaller six pot calipers such us B25S, B27, B280 and BF 30 allow the kits to be fitted within 14"-15" wheels although in some instance with the assistance of spacers. Despite a price that suit even the tightest of budgets these kits have the same quality and finish as the more expensive TAROX applications.
Standard
Virtually all of these kits feature the B32 calipers in either its six and ten pot incarnations and discs whose size range from 300mm to 335mm, in most case with light weight alloy hubs. The particularly narrow shape of the B32 caliper make them ideal for car fitted with 16" and 17" wheels.
Grande
These include all the brake kits whose discs - mostly with alloy hubs - size ranges from 340mm to 400mm and features B34 GT 10 pistons and B350 & B400 12 or B400RT 16 pistons calipers. Visually beautiful and with stopping performance to match they are the perfect choice for all performance cars fitted with at least 18" wheels.
